PTFE tape, commonly known as thread seal tape or Teflon tape, is a high-performance sealing material used to ensure leak-proof seals in threaded pipe connections. Made from Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE tape offers excellent chemical resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and the ability to withstand high temperatures. It is ideal for plumbing, chemical processing, and other industrial applications where reliable sealing is essential.
